    Le serious game  (jeu sérieux) est une application (logiciel) souvent pédagogique et toujours sérieuse dont le but peut être la communication, l’enseignement, l’entrainement, le marketing ou l’information à travers une pratique ludique. Les grandes entreprises sont parfois à l’origine de projets qui n’ont rien à envier aux productions à gros budgets des firmes de jeux vidéos. Même s’ils sont souvent gratuits, il existe cependant quelques initiatives payantes.
